Philanthropy

Philanthropy is an integral part of our sustainability & impact strategy. Our philanthropic commitment dates back to 2004 and was further strengthened in 2020 with the creation of the Eurazeo Endowment Fund.

*The Eurazeo Endowment Fund, governed by Law No. 2008-776 of August 4, 2008, was declared to the Paris sub-prefecture on August 14, 2020, and was published in the Official Journal on August 22, 2020.

For more than 20 years, Eurazeo has supported non-profit organizations, mainly in the fields of culture and education. We also provide support during emergency situations, including conflicts, health crisis, and natural disasters. Today, our philanthropic commitment is structured around two main pillars: supporting social entrepreneurship through the Upsiders program, and supporting photography, notably through the Eurazeo Photo Prize, established in 2010. Since 2004, we have donated more than €15 million and supported over 70 non-profit organizations.

Upsiders, a new chapter

In 2025, we launched the Upsiders program, co-developed with Ashoka, the world's largest network of social entrepreneurs.

Upsiders' mission is to:

Support innovative social entrepreneurs who tackle the world’s most pressing challenges by addressing their root causes, with the ambition to drive system change.

We focus our efforts on our business specialties—healthcare, environment and technology—as well as in education and culture, in line with our longstanding commitment to these fields.

Since its launch, Upsiders has demonstrated strong internal engagement, with more than a quarter of our employees participating in at least one initiative. Through these actions, we have contributed to the projects of 19 social entrepreneurs.
